How to purchase

Users can purchase from www.skinius.it without registering. We recommend creating an account in order to access the exclusive areas and services for our clients.

Product search. Discover our bestsellers and the most interesting products from our Home Page suggestions by choosing an area of interest or skin type from the menu. Or use the site search function.

Product information. Each product profile will detail the basic information (price, quantity and directions for use), product availability, INCI ingredient list and any additional material such as videos, tutorials and photos. Click on the product image to expand it and see the full packaging.

How to purchase. Use the left-hand menu on each page to directly access the product category required. See more information about the desired product by clicking on the image or description. A ‘Buy Now’ button can be found on each product profile. Click this button to add the selected product to your basket, where you can also adjust the quantity of items selected. You will receive a confirmation email containing all the product details in just a few minutes. Our warehouse will start processing your order from this point.

Basket. The following details will be listed in the basket for each product added: name, quantity, unit price, total price, VAT and the ‘Remove’ option to remove the product from the basket (it is always possible to remove an item from your basket if you change your mind). Check your payment and delivery details and confirm order to proceed to payment. Details cannot be modified and no further products can be added or removed once you have confirmed and paid for the order.

Promotional codes: coupons and vouchers. Our promotional codes will give you access to exclusive promotions and initiatives. Sign up for the Skinius newsletter to receive promotional codes. Insert the code in the specific field in the basket to use the promotion. One or more promotional codes can be applied to each order, depending on the current promotions. If your code is not valid, check the expiry dates of the promotion and the product category it applies to in the newsletter.

Cancelling orders. Once confirmed, the order is processed automatically and can no longer be cancelled.

Delivery to Italy. Our delivery is so rapid and reliable that all you have to worry about is opening the parcel and enjoying your Skinius products. We will send your order from our warehouse at our head office near Milan. We guarantee delivery within 48 hours for orders placed before midday Monday to Friday. Delivery to Sicily and Sardinia may require an extra day. Our courier delivers during office hours, Monday to Friday, except bank holidays. It is not possible to specify the time or day of delivery. We recommend choosing an address where you can be easily reached. The courier will attempt to deliver for three consecutive days, leaving a card with a contact number. After three attempts, the parcel will be returned to our warehouse.

Delivery to Europe and the rest of the world. We deliver throughout Europe. If you do not see your country on the list, contact our customer service (customerservice@skinius.it) for a quote with delivery costs. We are not responsible for customs charges. These will be communicated to you by the courier when the parcel arrives at its destination. Payment of any customs charges is the responsibility of the client and the amount depends on the laws in the delivery country. If the customs charges are not paid and the delivery is therefore refused or abandoned, the delivery costs and customs charges will be deducted from the total cost of the order and only the difference will be reimbursed. On 1 January 2021 the United Kingdom will leave the single market and the customs union of the European Union (CEE). Due to these and other changes, delays are expected in shipments crossing the border between the UK and the EU.

Payments

Credit card

All online payments via credit card are handled exclusively by PayPal. No credit card data passes through our site/server and no sensitive credit card data is stored in any way. During payment, the data provided is encrypted by the PayPal secure system, which uses an encrypted Payment Gateway (SSL with 128 bit encryption). An authorisation request is sent to the credit card issuing bank via PayPal. The order will only be confirmed once an affirmative reply is received.

PayPal

The website www.skinius.it is PayPal enabled so that users can easily shop online without having to insert their credit card details for every transaction. Your account will be debited once the order is complete. Sign up for a PayPal account at www.paypal.com

Advance Bank Transfer

This type of payment requires transfer of the total cost in order to validate the order. The bank account details will be provided when ordering. The products will only be sent once the bank transfer is complete. Once payment has been received, customers will receive notification of delivery date.

Legal conditions

Art.1 General conditions

All prices are given in Euros and include VAT. Delivery is free of charge for orders over €100.00. A delivery charge of €6.99 will be charged for orders below this amount. SKINIUS cannot be held responsible for delayed delivery. Unless otherwise explicitly stated by our Customer Service team or the appointed courier, delivery is to street level only. Goods are transported at the risk of the recipient.

Art.2 Delivery times

If requested via email or phone, our customer service team can give an estimated delivery date. This date is non-binding. Payment of any customs charges is the responsibility of the client and the amount depends on the laws in the delivery country. We are not responsible for customs charges. These will be communicated to you by the courier when the parcel arrives at its destination. If the customs charges are not paid and the delivery is therefore refused or abandoned, the delivery costs and customs charges will be deducted from the total cost of the order and only the difference will be reimbursed.

Art.3 Accepting the order/Completion of contract

The purchase will be completed with the following phases: by sending the order, the Customer sends a purchase order for the selected product(s). The purchase order implies consent to receive subsequent communications exclusively regarding the execution and completion of the sales contract.
At the end of the purchase process, an email will be sent with an ‘Order Number’ that will be used in all subsequent communication. The availability of the goods ordered will be verified; should they not be available the customer will be contacted to change the order. We will organise delivery of the goods via an express courier who will deliver to the address provided. Payment by the Customer will occur via the method chosen during purchase.

Art.4 Verification upon delivery

Once the goods have been delivered by the courier, the Customer is required to check that: the number of packages delivered corresponds with the quantity indicated on the delivery document; the parcel is intact, dry, undamaged and otherwise in good condition (including any stickers and straps). Any damage to the parcel and/or product or difference in the number of packages or indicates must be immediately contested by writing “RESERVATION OF ACCEPTANCE” on the courier delivery document. If the courier delivery document is signed with this note, the Customer will not be able to contest the external presentation of the delivery in any way. Any problems relating to the physical integrity of the products or their correspondence with the order must be raised within 5 days of delivery. This must be communicated via registered mail with delivery confirmation or telegram within 5 days of delivery.

Art.5 Undelivered items

If items held by the courier are not delivered within 5 days due to repeated non-delivery to the address provided by the Customer when ordering, the delivery will be automatically cancelled. In this case, the Customer will be reimbursed the total cost after deduction of an administration fee of € 15.00. Should the Customer still wish to receive the goods after the free delivery period, it will be their responsibility. Fees for undelivered items will be charged to the recipient. .

The sales contact with the Customer is conducted in Italy and regulated by Italian law. The competent court is Milan.
